Might be going against the flow, but how about John White ...... ?

When did we have John white on loan then? What club did he play for?

2009-10 I think, when we got relegated. He was one of a few players we had to loan off Col Ewe .... we were THAT desperate!

I've been wracking my brain about who this might be but putting two and two together Chris Phillips earlier said that a right back would probably be our first signing, and then the news that it's a defender who has played for us before and then it dawned on me:

JOHN WHITE

Surprised nobody else thought of it first!

Is white knocking on a bit? Don't think he'll be as pacey or as agile as Clohessy. Still we cannot be choosers.

I quite liked John White when he was here so would welcome that signing. Obviously would much rather Clohessy but if White is brought in as his replacement I'm pretty happy.

He is 26 - in his prime. Offered reduced terms at Cull Ewe, but rejected the deal. Is from Maldon apparently, so would seem to make sense.

4 down the line but as Sherif says he is in his prime. Think he'll be less attack minded than Sean. Wanted a bit of research so thanks guys.
