Football fan dies after post-match brawl at Blackpool pub

No big surprise. Both sets of fans are utter ****ehouses although Burnley were especially awful as I remember.

Awful, even if the deceased had been part of the brawl,I'm surprised this actually doesn't happen more often with the amount of fighting between fans that still continues to happen on a match day.

I remember being in Brighton for a stag do on a Friday night and Brighton were playing West Ham the next day and a group of West Ham fans were targeted in the front bar of the place we had our party,I've never seen anything like it and don't want to again, but how nobody was killed I've no idea, one West Ham fan was slashed accros his face so deep his cheek was away from the jaw, just mindless, and for what?

That's the part I just don't understand, why would any sane person decide to attack someone else just because they happen to support another football team, just madness when you think about it.

I guess the police have caught the person involved and he will now have his own life ruined by a moment of unjustified violence on a person he probably never knew and if it was away from football and on holiday would possibly shared a pint with.

My thoughts go out to Tony's family who now also have had their lives completely changed for the worse, just a terrible waste of life for nothing.
