this happened to me on my laptop, i uninstalled steam and started all over again by putting the manager game disk back in and it worked second time round.
Just done this, still no joy!

I had a similar problem, I had to delete a few things then updated. Worked eventually.

finished my first complete season, leading Peterhead to the 3rd division Scottish title.
Jamil Adam, Butra, Navillo all the stars. Sadly even though Mohsni, Dicko and Kalala were released, they didnt want to come to us for 2012/3.
