Jonny, I quite like you on here. You speak a lot of sense sometimes and I think it is healthy to have some "alternative" views from people who aren't particularly fans as it sometimes gets a sense of reality as we are all indanger of being too optimistic/pessimistic (delete whichever does not apply) at times.
But lets be honest here. I will, for starters. In the late 80's I owned a business in Leyton (Viva Travel, corner of Ruckholt Rd, almost opposite the Town Hall - now a cafe) and sponsored the odd Orient match as well as having a bloody great advertising board on one stand by the camera gantry. If you have followed Orient since then you may remember it.
In that time I generally used to work on Saturdays and couldn't get to Roots Hall that much so went to Orient for several games. I almost became an Orient follower (please note the use of the word "follower" as opposed to "fan") but then I changed businesses and came to my senses. Actually that was the year you won promotion via the play offs - Wrexham I think - over 2 legs rather than a one-off final.
Now your turn.
