This time a whole two months' ago we saw a goal at Roots Hall!

David Worrall scoring against Northampton's sub keeper Matt Duke, adding to Big Bad Barry Corr's opening goal in a 2-0 win v struggling Northampton.

We haven't seen a goal at home - for or against - since.

But think of all the shots , near misses , rattling of the woodwork and general goal mouth excitement in those last three 0-0 home games !
Oh , wait a minute............................:'(

To be fair John White did put the ball in the net, beautifully beating Bentley but it was ruled off-side.

Is this post suitable for the Pointless Posts thread?:stunned:

The Northampton game was a step too far for us,hideous game of football which had 0 0 stamped on it until the red card.

We drove home muttering about wasting our cash watching such poo and decided to boycott the Hall,we missed three 0 0 draws which apparently were poo as well.

Back tomorrow only because we have reverted to 442 .

We are fair weather fans.
