Formula One 2024

At least this season looks like its livening up a bit compared to the last few years.

2 Non MV wins already this season and he was also pushed to the limit last weekend too.

I expect Monaco will be the usual dreadful race it nearly always is unless we get some rain to spice things up a bit.

Heres hoping the Red Bull total domination of the last couple of seasons is coming to end!

Has Adrian newey now left them? If so their dominance may fall away

Best two ‘races’ seen for a long time imo, but still too many races scheduled this season as Liberty and chums seek to extract as much dosh as possible from the tracks and punters.
I’d still like to see an end to pit-stops whilst the safety car is out also to scrap DRS.

I agree entirely here. They send the safety car out and some people take a chance for quick pit stop while others stay out and then benefit from a red flag 2 minutes later.

Makes it complete guess work as to whether to pit or not.

Do away with safety car pit stops (unless replacing punctures/damaged wings) and make it down to the driver/car combination rather than a 50/50 coin flip decision.

Another snooze-fest at the Monaco procession with the first seven starters on the grid finishing in exactly the same 1-7 positions. Long overdue this excuse for a race was scrapped.

It will never happen, money talks.

Think it was actually the first 10 wasn’t it? Dreadful race every year made worse by the red flag which meant nobody needed to do pit stops and risk losing a place.

Modern F1 cars are just too big to race round there.

At least the F1 is a bit more entertaining than England football at the mo.

MV clearly starting to get a bit rattled with Lando nipping at his heels week in week out.

MV & Red Bull reverted to type yesterday and if you can't win fairly just nudge the opponent off and deny doing anything wrong.

The McLaren team member (can't remember his name) had it right saying its a carry over from MV's battles with Lewis Hamilton where you run people off without really being punished for it.

I think he does genuinely believe his is in the right despite all the "experts" and pictures showing he shut the gap in the braking zone.

Silverstone should be lively.....

My first view of the season as on C4. Interesting race but who was that winker of a commentator - kept repeating the bleeding obvious - muted him in the end
