Francis Laurent

As with Akinde, the club are reluctant to publicly name their new transfer target but it is a player who commanded a six-figure transfer fee very recently and who featured among the leading goalscorers in the division last season.

This time around, though, the striker has found his path to the first team at his current club blocked by the red-hot form of their first-choice strike partnership.

Can only think the striker they are signing is Tom Pope from Rotherham, seems to be the only one who fits the bill.

Got the Mrs who is half french to translate and basically the first chap says he is sad to see Laurent go as he is a good player.

Laurent has got some immense potential. Will he ever fully utillise it though?

Bound to score a hattrick against us aswell

"I'm a little embarrassed from leaving the team in this situation but several English clubs were interested in me and it will give me the opportunity, if all goes well, to play in a higher division next year."
