Fred Fitton and Billy Crewe

Yes, after 1920, they were the only two players who made their debut on Christmas Day - Fitton in 1929, Crewe in 1931. Fitton only made 3 appearances in total, but sadly that was Crewe's only game!

In 1932 Fred decided to move south and play for us, sadly it was only for three games but he did score once. I like to think it was the best goal of his career. Sadly, we will never kno
