Freddie Ladapo

Confidence goes a long way.

He had one very good game where he looked the part of a mobile target man. He then apparently had a shocker in that game that was nearly snowed off and everyone wrote him off and he was never the same.

Maybe Plymouth's fans will give him more time but the mental side is an important side of football and you need to be mentally strong. He wouldn't be the first target man to be called rubbish here who went onto carve out a good lower league career (eg Harrold, Paynter, Revell etc).

Fully agree with your point but when did anyone say Revell was rubbish?

I am amazed that Ladapo has been given another chance with a league one club and felt he would have been better gdropping in to non league to build confidence but good luck to him, it’s not as if he had a bad attitude he just isn’t very good, but at 25 has the potential to inprove.

The vice chairman for one!

I'd happily bet that he will struggle to nail down a starting place next season. He just didn't have the talent.

He'll almost certainly bang in a hat-trick against us and bag 25 goals next season.

Usually the script.

Got the only goal of the game to get Plymouth off the bottom of the table, to be replaced by yesterday's opponents.
