Friday night Football returns to the Hall tomorrow night although i personally prefer sat games im
planning to work through lunch time tomorrow to leave the office at 1600 hrs to beat the traffic on
the A13 get home and get the train and get down for a few beers

Are near neighbours up the road played Bournemouth the other day and had a pathetic attendance
as i recall 3445 , hopefully we can beat that pathetic attendance from the so called best team in Essex :hilarious:

Attendance are down we need all the support we can get and to those boycotting games at Hall swallow your pride get off your asses and get down and support the team that you say you love because you staying away is hurting this club and its players who are trying to get out of this division

Do 9-5 jobs still exist? Even on a 14 hour shift i only get 30 mins lol

I think we will get a reasonable 5-6k tomorrow. Bury being the giants that they are will probably bring 200 max. Thats whats killing us aswell. Lack of away support . Some of the away support at the hall this season has been ****ing awful. Morcambe brought like 80 fans.

Compare that to the likes of southampton leeds huddersfield millwall charlton and dare i say it col u and summy orient. All of which brought 800 + some of them brought 2000 odd.

Whos is going to bring that many this season? Maybe gillingham will bring 1200 odd , but thats it.

Its also the away fans that get a great atmosphere going amongst the home fans.

I was brought up in the good old days of 7 or 8 night games a season. Cold winter's evening in the West. Toilets you could smell half way up the road. Can I Dad? Can I Dad? Can I Dad? Here's 50p son now **** off, buy yourself a programme, a mars bar and a packet of polos (from one of the people walking around the pitch with the red trays). I'll see you at full time. Moving from one end to the other at half-time (some of the old videos have clips of fans doing this well into the 90s).

Friday night footie in particular always felt a little bit special and the atmosphere is always louder at night as well. If Saturday football was left to the top two divisions i am convinced the other two divisions would see the benefits.

Sadly I have been getting home at 1030 or later most nights this week. Tomorrow on the face of it is no exception but I plan to bale out early see the game and waste another Saturday of my life in the City.

Ron some would call that stupidity. I call it love and dedication. You can try to treat me like doggie doo but you will always fail to take the SUFC out of ORM

and bury tonight will bring around 150 odd i think, in a crowd of 5,129

I love FNF. Leave work early, quick beer in the Spread before the game, and then off to the casino straight after. Marvellous

We was live on Sky though and it was a tad windy:tumbleweed:
Personally I prefer Friday night games unless we are playing away.

I am expecting a 6000 plus tonight :-)

My cup is always half full but over the week I feel we are all are in a better mood with club also been a Friday night we may see a few old faces from last year

i think we may sneak a 6k crowd tonight, what with it being the return of our boy lee and being a friday night game. i'm feeling a nice bag of chips and 3 points. then off out afterwards.
