Getting excited for this. Only a day to go! Just rewatched Hardhome, which was as fantastic as I remembered!

Be good to know what finally happens to Jon Snow. Last season was a bit so-so, so touch wood they've pulled their finger out with S6....definitely looking forward to illegally streaming it. :smile:
 
Yep, just got myself keyed up by watching Hardhome and then the final episode of Season 5. Really looking forward to it being back!
 
I got myself in the mood for GOT by hanging out in Games Workshop and loitering on the Linux forums.

we just watched the one that you skipped. poor Shireen. Now on to the S5 finale.
 
I've spent 9 or whatever months waiting for this day to arrive, finally! As much as I love some of the other shows like Vikings etc, nothing quite matches GOT, its got it all!

watched it this morning on the train, good lively start!

everyone is kicking off, in Dorne, at castle black, in Mereen, with Reek and Sansa
 
I got myself in the mood for GOT's return by simultaneously watching Lord of the Rings and some softcore porn.
 
I've seen it too (Sky's already put it on their catch up service), thought it was a very good episode, although there does seem to be one massive plothole.

Last season ended with Doran Martell's son sailing off with Jamie Lannister back to King's Landing to take a seat on the council, so how did the Sand Snakes kill him this episode? Did he forget to get off the boat at King's Landing before it sailed back to Dorne?

I thought the same but just put it down to me misremembering

Who? Cersei? I think the Dorne women would have known, hence why Jamie probably dumped him overboard mid journey and he made his way back to Dorne, and what he thought was safety!

Doran. If Jamie had set him adrift he would have immediately told Doran what happened, but Doran was surprised when the Sand Snakes revealed what they had done.
