Agree, really struggle to see how this can sell out that stadium. Add into that mix aswell middle of World Cup, which if england finish second in group will be playing at 3pm same day.

Most likely Ā£25 for PPV aswell, no thanks. IPTV for me if it happens.

I do love Del boy, I know he's not a great boxer but his fights are entertaining and he loves going toe to toe. Glad he has a world title shot

Embarassing fight, should never be happening. Looks like Fury's desperate after coming out of retirement yet again.

For me, he should of either not gone into retirement in the first place or only come out for AJ or Usyk. Usyk would be a fantastic fight of two excellent technical boxers where AJ, I would of loved to have seen him get beat again and throw another tantrum.

Does anyone actually believe he retired? Goodness me.

Fingers crossed, absolute waste of time! And itā€™s on BT PPV! Boxing is such a such a mess.

Eddie Hearn has lost all credibility. Trying to put his cheeky chappy spin on the Conor Benn's failed drug tests. Hearn is even putting his spin on Benn's licence situation, but that doesn't match with the The British Boxing Board of Control, statement. The food contamination explanation doesn't wash now that it's come out he failed two separate tests two months apart. The best comment I saw was this....So hang on .. You're telling me Conor Benn failed a test in July but didn't make Investigations as to why. Instead he carried on the same food/drink regime and then failed again in September. Then decided he should act when it came out ?? Behave.

The drug he tested positive for is well known for use in those who cycle steroids.

As a result it's a bit of a smoking gun, and Eddie would do well to speak no further on the issue if he wants to save his rep.

One of his prize fighters has been caught potentially artificially boosting his strength in a sport where death is a real fight outcome.

Sports drug cheats use the 'my food or drinks were spiked' explanation a lot, as it can cause doubt about their guilt. I always remember Olympic sprinter Ben Johnson saying his can of coke was spiked after being caught after winning Gold at the Olympics. before being stripped of medals and disqualified. He kept saying he was innocent. Then he confessed to everything. He confessed to using steroids to build his body up, and then to using performance enhancing drugs. Benn and Hearn are now coming out with the test being faulty as another possibility. But an expert said VADA use Olympic standard testing and security. He also said Benn could take a test now that would detect any long term use of banned substances, but he's refused to do that. Why? Benn and Hearn can spin as much as they like. The trouble is they are not quite matching up their stories, which is usual when one or both are lying. It's much easier to remember the truth.

The whole debacle is just embarrassing! The silence for weeks and the odd line of ā€œwait until the truth comes outā€. Then more comes out about another failed test. And now they break their silence and the best they could come up with is it was spiked food or eggs! Honestly, you really think people are that stupid.

Eddie Hearn is an absolute muppet, the stuff he has been coming out with to defend him. He should be distancing himself from him and leaving it up to the fighter to prove his innocence. He is doing his reputation no favours and all you do is look on social media with anything posted by Matchroom or Hearn and itā€™s all about drugs etc.

Hearn has form for this, we had a similar situation with Dillian Whyte when he popped on a test (he previously served a ban for a ā€˜tainted supplementā€™) prior to the Rivas fight, the B sample has never surfaced and that was swept under the carpet. He later had the Whyte v Povetkin fight both drug cheats!

The whole thing is just a joke, Hearn needed to distance himself from the situation. He hasnā€™t to try and get his pay day out of Benn.

Now when you look at Benn and how he struggled against Peynaud! And then all of a sudden heā€™s bowling over former world championship title contenders. Covid break obviously did him well, I remember he was out of the scene for a while didnā€™t fight for a whole year. Came back and all of a sudden heā€™s a beast whoā€™s knocking out decent level opponents. He was the most improved fighter and now we know why!

They are spreading different theories. Just like in criminal trials, the idea is to spread reasonable doubt, not to prove he's innocent, as sometimes it's very difficult to prove a guilty person innocent. 3 Massive clues as to why he's guilty. Not agreeing to get the B sample result. Relinquishing his licence to try and avoid a ban. Not agreeing to do the hair follicle test that tests for longer term drug stimulants. And even Benn's dad didn't want him to box as he had no power and was struggling against very poor opposition. All of a sudden he's bulked up muscle wise, got loads of stamina and has now got power in his punch. Hhmm. Ricey is right.
So now we are in the middle of the spread reasonable doubt starring Hearn and Benn. It's contaminated food. It's cross contamination. Someone contaminated the sample on purpose. It's eggs. It's VADA's poor test conditions. Watch the excuses. The deflection, and blaming other things or people.

Stupid thing is it will get swept under the carpet in a couple of months.

Look at the Daniel Kinahan stuff, the debacle from the Taylor v Catterall fight. Boxing is corrupt to the core and as long as people like Hearn continue to do things like this and cover his mates it will be a ****ed sport!

O.K. a few more things are coming out now. The eggs theory is BS as we all knew. An expert said you would have to eat 30 eggs a day, Lol, something any boxer would not be allowed to do for health reasons, even if you could manage to eat that many a day. Now they are suggesting Chickens. Dear oh dear. They will probably come out with the beef steak theory soon, as that's been blamed by other boxers before. It's now said that Hearn would have been informed about the 2 failed drugs tests, but they still tried to get the fight on up to the last week. Money, money, money with Hearn, and no care for both boxers. The relinquishing of the licence can stop an investigation if they choose, and also still lets him fight in other countries. If an investigation is stopped, then you only have Hearn and his lawyers and any expert they can find to put their side, casting doubt, with a free hand. So we will be bombarded with the defences arguments as to reasons as to why he failed two drugs tests. The small trace argument has been explained by experts on this saying that if a boxer is on performance enhancing drugs to build up strength, stamina, and allow to train harder and longer and recover quicker from injuries and muscle strains, then they stop taking them a few months before the fight to allow traces of drug taking to disappear. But sometimes, there are still small traces left, as in Benn's case. It doesn't mean the boxer wasn't taking full blown amounts months prior. There could be bigger traces in sample B, as the reason as to why Benn and Hearn won't let the public know the result of that. It's also come out today that Hearn never informed the Eubank camp of the first failed drugs test. Hearn may not have been contractually obliged to inform the Eubank camp about the first failed drugs test, but should have done so out of professional courtesy and morale duty, as said by another boxing expert. Come on Conor Benn, you've failed two drugs tests. You've metamorphosed your body into a new body, which loads of people were questioning at the time. In about 10 years you will probably release a book about why and how you did it. Just like a lot of other drug cheats have done, though they swore blind at the time that they were innocent.

He will never admit to it! I started to like him again, remember when he was coming up, him, Ted Cheeseman and another one of Simms fighters were taking the **** out of another fighter with club foot. Taking the **** out of his disability, shows the type of person Benn is.

But he detached himself from that lot and seemed to settle down with his family and came across well in later interviews.

Now heā€™s turned back into that **** who was taking the **** out of someoneā€™s disability. First it started with the memeā€™s and posts of ā€œwait until the truth comes outā€. Youā€™ll all be begging for forgiveness rubbish, trying to blame the press etc.

Then comparing his relinquishing his licence to when his Dad did it. His dad didnā€™t do it because he tested positive for drugs.

Now the excuse after excuse. And even saying if youā€™re caught taking drugs you should be banned for life.

Honestly this how thing is embarrassing! The problem is it doesnā€™t just ruin Benn and Hearnā€™s reputation, it ruins the reputation of Boxing.

So more coming out now. Clomifene is a blocker. Clomifene when used by men gives your brain the wrong information, that you are not producing Testosterone. So you end up producing massive amounts of natural Testosterone. This then gives you super strength, stamina and power. It's normally used as part of a cocktail of 1 to 3 other drugs. That is probably why they won't let us have the results of sample B, as that would confirm for sure he cheated, if other cocktail drugs were in sample B.
