and yes Theo dangled a leg. If you freeze it then both players are doing the same and Theo didn't actually touch him.

But Byrne played the ball and Theo played Byrne's knee - a stupid challenge from a forward but not unexpected from Theo though- shouldn't we have defenders to make those challenges or not ?

What you don't see is the tackle on McG, which somehow ended up being a free kick to them. The silence of the home fans must surely give a ref a big clue who really fouled who. That kick lead to the penalty.

We were defending a free kick late in the game so just like every other team in the same circumstances we had players back including a forward. Theo should have headed the second ball out but actually pulled out because of high Gillingham boot. If he was cute enough he should have put his head just close enough to the boot and then flung himself on the floor in agony, gaining us a free kick and wasted 3 or 4 minutes with Ben Clarkson.

Still having said that some refs would have wrongly given a foul against Lenny when raised his boot for his overhead kick on the first goal.

At least Hendrie made an effort to run in and clear any potential rebound from the penalty whilst the 9 other players stood around with their hands on their hips.
