Anyone go to the Golf day today?
I’ve played at the last couple but couldn’t make it this year.
The last one at Thorpe Hall was funny Phil Brown had a few drinks and told the whole room Southend were gonna fight for promotion that season. We’d taken 5 points out the first 7 games. A couple of months later he was gone.

What was the mood like there anyway? Players in good spirits? Any news?

It wouldn't surprise me if someone injured themselves and is out for the season.

Is that photograph giving us a clue as to who the next manager will be or is it just coincidence?
