I believe the embargo is in place due to the football clubs accounts not being filed. The Southend United Football Club Limited has not filed the accounts to 31 July 2012 yet. The should have been by 30 April 2013.

I don't think it is just the late accounts (almost 5 months late now). We owe money to various parties as well...

I said at the start of summer this would be a long Embargo. It sure is.
