I read this in the Echo the other day, but as it's positive news, not surprised to see no mention of it here.

Spinners wife is running the NY marathon on Sunday and raising money for a local childrens charity. The article said the players have sponsored her for around £500 and now has raised a total of £2,500. Uncle Ron has said whatever she raises, he will double. Top bloke!

So he obviosuly has money laying around - how about our stadium?
