Listening to BBC Essex, and they mentioned that with Coughlan coming on that was his 500th professional appearance.

Yep, well done Cuffers! I'd have liked to see him in while Barker was out, would have given them a bit more stability.

I have said on other threads that I think Coughlan presence alongside Sturrock has been a significant factor in our current league position and I think he has been a real asset to the club since he joined ............ not a massive fan of his defensive capabilities as I think he is past his best ........... but rather as a person, a leader and a motivator.

Agreed. We was talking about this at the game yesterday, destined to go into management one day. Can't help but think he is learning from one of the very best.
