great second half performance

McCormack, what inspirational signing.. would give him 9/10, for the performance..

barrett came good as well,
sodje strong as ever..

gower not too good, eastwood got about, but no killer instinct..

flavs didn't have a great amount to do, and i thought hooper played well..

JCR not so good, kept losing out..

and unfortunately Maher had a 'mare.. tried 1 touch football and kept losing possesion easily..

apart from that, would have been happy with a point in the first half, but think the second warranted a win..

McCormack was fantastic when he came on, looked a threat going forward which we havent had in the middle this season. Eastwood for me looked disinterested today, mind elsewhere?

Gower took his goal very well. First half was a shambles really but the 2nd half was great although I feel like we've lost!

We really do need a win badly. The teams around us today have all lost points and I see it as 2 points lost than a point gained.

McCormack did look good, see you later Clarke Im afraid! Nice to see a midfielder bursting into the penalty area hope he keeps that up.

Thought Gower did well second half, not sure about Mom though.

on Macs peformance, i think clarke needs to take a look at himself in this league..

ok he has kept being played out of positiion, but ffs, sometimes doesn't look like he has basic football skills..

Agree with both of the above posts concerning McCormack. Great first touch, gets stuck in and pushes forward well.

Clarke...............what can I say. Absolutely dire today. Gave the ball away far to many times. Shocking display.

I said the same thing to my son, we have not had a midfeilder who runs in the box all season! Our first goal ....... What a f%cking shambles, What was hammell doing chipping the ball out of defense to a man marked gower, he should have just wellied it in the stands, truly shocking!

mccormack looked the best player on the pitch and he beat players with ease he looks a good player shame he didnt score he deserved to hes been in a wining squad all season i think we can stay up

Maybe you feel that way, but the FACT is that we gained a point on those around us.

McCormack played like he'd never left. Great energy and workrate and made an instant impact. Did what we've been crying out for all season - got into the box from midfield. If only he'd taken the couple of chances he got. As Tilly said, he's the kind of player you want when the chips are down and he has to start against Col U, Clarke is just not a midfielder. Hopefully Tilly's learnt that early subs are better than subs with 10/15 mins to go.

McCormack has to start next up, no doubt about it. Actually thought Clarke had one of his better midfield games but there's no goal threat in his play and no creativity. Given that Maher's going to be holding, Clarke's presence is pointless.

Shame about the crowd.

Shame McCormack missed that sitter as well. My mum could have scored that. If Clark would have done that he would have got f**king slated!

SZFC wouldn't have scored it if the polls are to be believed!

Also, I just realised that Clarke did miss a similarly easy chance but he's not being slated.

Thought he was awful today. I was really looking forward to Clarke coming based on his reputation at Blackpool but I cant see him playing much now.

Midfield wise he is useless (not his fault, its not his position)He cant do anything with the ball, half the passes he makes go off for throw-ins. When he shoots you hope it gets a deflection so it doesnnt end up at the corner flag..

As a defender I think he is 4th choice now. Prior and Sodje would be my first two, and thats a shock to me as I didnt see Prior being any use in this league.

In fairness McCormacks passing wasnt inspiring either, but he has just got here, and the rest of his game made up for it.

The logic is simple. Clark is not a midfield player and never will be. Those of us who undertsand and read the game see this, but it seems that there are an element in the East Stand (you know who you are near the away dug out) who seem to think he should be given a chance(?). When airing my own views on Clarks performance I was soundly shouted down and told I should stay at home! I feel sorry for Clark, he is clearly playing out of position and am more than suprised that Tilly has not acted before now. I'm afraid my friends in the East Stand (yes you near the away dug out) the introduction of McCormack has clearly proved the point.

Reason tilly hasnt acted before now is he didnt have many options until now.

With McCormack here theres no doubt he will start with Maher next week.

The argument between 2 fans in said block was the best point of the first half today

Was you one of them just out of interest?

tell me who can burst past 2 or 3 players with ease and make a chance for your self like mccormack did eastwood he is the only player and jcr if he run in a straight line instead of running round in circles we need results to stay up and ill think we will get them and i think we will stay up

If you're talking about the exchange of views very early on in the game (just after Plymouth had scored) then that was me. I'm afraid my friends nearby have no sense of emotion in their bodies, infact most of them are asleep during the game. If they showed an ounce of passion for the game then it may make a difference to how they react.
