With Southend United playing Bradford City on Friday 16[SUP]th[/SUP] December 7:45pm, Great Wakering Rovers Football Club would like to offer Blues supporters the chance to watch Rovers v Harlow Town the following afternoon for just £1.
To take advantage of this offer Southend fans simply have to turn up at Burroughs Park and show a season card or a ticket stub from any Shrimpers home match this season at the turnstiles.
Rovers have a good relationship with Southend United. The club would like to state that they are not trying to steal supporters from the Blues, simply to offer them a game of football to watch while Southend do not have a fixture, Indeed the Blues hierarchy have supported Rovers with this event.
The clubhouse will be open from midday; Great Wakering Rovers would like to welcome as many Blues supporters to Burroughs Park as possible.

Just a little update reuarding the Rovers v Harlow match on the 17th December at Burroughs Park, 3pm kick-off. Blues fans can gain entry for £1 by showing a season card, a ticket stub from any Southend match home or away or by showin one of the flyers that have been given out at recent games at Roots Hall.
The clubhouse will be open from midday and after the match until 11pm as Rovers have a Christmas party - Southend Supporters are welcome. Hope to see a few of you there - Brian
