So he should be - he must wake up everyday and pinch himself in disbelief at the massive slice of good luck life has dealt him whilst living in constant fear that karma will somehow steal it back.

I quite like him because he annoys so many of the food snobs who watch Masterchef.

They may mock his journey from greengrocer to ingredients expert to seasoned diner but I suspect he has tasted a lot more top end food and seen it cooked than your typical middle class dinner party host.

That girl is brimming with talent and deserves her success. Far more intellectually sharp than her accent superficially suggests.
