Hadleigh

Youth Team
Hi All,

Im moving from the centre of (universe) southend on the 28th to Hadleigh the newish build behind the Aldi's / Lidl's it is, really nice place, even with a sea veiw, but im wondering, what there is to do in the area etc? Bad for crime etc?
Please advise!

"Bad for crime" - If it is will you consider moving to another area where it is a crime paradise to continue on your spree................

sorry I couldn't resist

I work in Hadleigh 2 days a week - while it's pleasant enough, there's naff all to do. It does have a couple of decent places to eat though - a nice Italian called Ancora on the London Road (near McDonald's) and the Thai place near the traffic lights at Thames Drive (the name escapes me) is good too. I suppose the castle is quite nice and the Salvation Army tea rooms down there does some mean cake :)

You will probally end up with the rest of the "Hadleigh Crew" and hang about the Church..

And Ldnfasto mate there isn't that much cake in the World for you, let alone Hadleigh ..:D

I live near there and not great deal to do but 2 minutes in cab and there are a few nice places/pubs, Woodmans Arms,White Hart both in Thundersley.

In hadleigh its self is Ancora resturaunt, La quinta, also a Tapas ,there are a good few Curry house's as well , Fatty's Bar shows all sports and so does the Crown pub.

Hadleigh downs is a good place to take a stroll on a nice summers night

my mate lives in the flats behind aldi, their new builds and are really nice and in a nice area. i don't think hadleighs bad for crime at all either
