Hails- storm!

Last night Julian Hails popped up in one of my dreams. I can't remember exactly what the dream was about- it was pretty fuzzy and may have involved violence and general unpleasantness. However I do remember pausing for a moment mid-dream and thinking '****ing hell, it's Julian Hails'. In my dream he was even smaller than in real life (practically a midget) but was a lot stockier. I couldn't help but think that my dream Hails would have been better equipped for league one soccer than the actual Hails who played wing back for us in the third tier back in 97/98.

I have never dreamt about a Southend player before (I dont count Rio Alderton). This got me thinking. Have any other members of the era-defining double relegation side of 96-98 appeared in zoners dreams/ nightmares/ hallucinations recently? You dont have do have to go into detail, just a basic outline of the player involved and plot will do.

I once had a dream that I was in a hot air ballon with Carl Hutchings. We were both having a right laugh and we had a few beers etc. But then we got into difficulty and Carl and I had a right barney.

Glad to say we patch it up after the landing.

Didn't think you were joking..Always liked Julian, a very amiable friendly guy and was pleased as punch for him when that 3rd goal went in!
