Striker Crawford completes Welling move
Former Dartford and Barnet striker Harry Crawford has joined Welling United.

The 24-year-old has scored goals for Football League sides Southend United and Barnet as well as goals in the National League and National League South with Dover Athletic, Boreham Wood and St Albans City.

Crawford also had two appearances for the Republic of Ireland under-19 side.

Welling are in the Conference , so just 1 league below the likes of Col Ewe , Orient & Portsmouth. Crawford has already scored on his debut for the Kent side. Good move for the ex Sarfend Yoof -- he was unlucky with the timing of his 1st team breakthrough with us ... he wasnt quite ready , and played in a really uncreative team at the time. I would rate him better than Mooney. just saying .....

Well, he has been knocking around at Conference level for a couple of years now. If things go well for him there is still plenty of time to get back into the league.

For now.

Welling won't necessarily be relegated this season, whereas Col Ewe are surely destined to return to their rightful home and Orient may as well join them.

I feel sure that Mail Man and Colchester and Proud will be on here soon and in complete agreement ...............
