I thought it was just me!!

Not a single decent youth pull EVER since I started despite excellent youth system, most get fired and a few pull in about £1,000. I think mine may be broken

Hmm... I've been pretty jammy on the YP front.  I had one sh*te season a few years back, but generally I've probably had at least 3 really quite good YPs a season.  This year I had a "week 2" 17 year old solid striker (who I've kept), an 18 yr old solid wing-back (who sold for £234K), a 19 yr old passable striker who went for £66K (pleasantly surprised at that price) and the chap above who is fairly handy and ought to go for minimum £50K, I reckon.

Perhaps numbers of physios (I have 2) or Assistant Coaches (I have 8) may have an impact...?

Well, the YP went for £48K - just under what I was expecting; but then the older Belgian defender went for £124K - a lot more than I was expecting!

No takers for my forward, so I've re-listed at £850K...

I think it's all about the long term gain. I had about 1 or 2 decent YPs for the first 3 seasons but since then I've started to get a few decent players a season (have probably had about 3 Excellent YPs). In general I think I've spent just over £1.5M on the youth set up and I've made just over £3M back in the sale of YPs (a few of them trained). I'd probably make even more if I sold my star defender who was a solid YP trained up to titanic.

And if you don't get a decent YP you might manage to get a bit of money for a player if they have a funny name. I'm sure that's what happened with this guy who I sold for £6000...
