Haven't listened, won't listen

A follow on from a comment that was made in the U2 thread...

are there any Albums or bands you have made pre-judgements on because its 'THEM'?

U2 is definately one that I wont listen to, along with anything with the hint of Emo..My Chemical Romance, Bullet for my Valentine etc....

Anymore, who else?

are there any you have listened to since and changed your minds about?

Radiohead are almost at that point with me as are U2. Other than the likes of Boyzone & that genre, I try to listen for more than a minute before switching off!

I'm sure there are tons of Albums that I would be guilty of pre-judging....

I wouldn't listen to new releases by bands such as Metallica, Slayer, and Slipnot et all, I would be certain they would encompass everything I dislike about the Metal scene.

Bands such as VNV Nation and Combichrist I would pre-judge too. The whole pretentiousness of that particular scene causes me a lot of frustration.

Obviously I'd steer a wide course around EMO and Boy/Girl groups, and dull fools with accoustic guitars thinking they are saving the music world with their quickly forgotten 'talent'.
