Heard last night from our scout Kevin Lock

that we are looking at signing a non league player, called Dean Neale the deal has been done and will be announced tommorow hes from Fisher Athletic, and they reckon he is the next freddie eastwood apparently
cant find anything on the net about him, does anyone have any goss on him Ricey??? can you help..........

wow if all your rumours come true you can have some green never heard of the guy but you never know

how did you hear this?

Well there's no mention of him on the Fisher Athletic website or on Soccerbase.

I just despair sometimes that we seem only to sign non league strikers expecting them to be a Freddy replacement when they're (probably) not going to be up to job. A few games in an no goals the "Paytner Boo Boys" will have a new target.

That Neale is a prize tool. He used to go out with Brian Dear's niece. Mind you, he's got a cracking left foot.

Awesome.

He's ex-Millwall if I remember correctly.

We should also get that Hall guy with the left foot from Torquay(?) as well.

Looking on their website they had a complete revamp on the squad and axed the whole 2006/2007 team and have started all over again bringing in nine new faces. He could have been in the squad that was axed? But still can't find him anywhere but there is a Dean Neal who once played for Millwall-Bit old tho

That guy played for you lot in the mid eighties and then was transferred to Fisher I believe its either a pee take, or it could possibly be his son that you are signing.
Thinking about it wasnt Lock a scout for you boys during the Bobby Moore era.

Funny as ****....

If anyone believe anything cockles says they are mad and Dean Neal played for us during my first season watching Southend when I was seven and was pretty ****.

Classic....Have some rep mate.

I sincerely hope any player we sign has got a left foot. League one is tough enough as it is without expecting players to perform if they only have one foot.
Maybe we sohuld go for Jake the Peg, he's got three feet. Mind you possibly a bit old these days.

Good call. We lack an experienced head.
