We are currently in the middle of extreme snow fall in Billericay. How is it looking in Southend?? Tuesday at risk, water logging???

was quite bad in basildon but lighter now but is expected to pick up again soon

Getting quite bad in basildon again and looked on bbc weather it said snow all night and up till about 8am

Won't be postponed. It's might be snowing in Southend but it sure as hell ain't settling as it was raining earlier meaning the surface is wet.

You do realise that a waterlogged pitch and a snow covered pitch are two different things?

I have been out in the sodding stuff all night. Brentwood was pretty grotty but everywhere else was turning to slush almost as soon as it was hitting the ground.

As good supporters , maybe we can get down the Hall and shovel as much snow as we can find (very little in Southend) onto the pitch. Get as many games posponed as possible. We need time right now.

To be fair, there's a lot more up the hill in Hadleigh than there is in my part of Benfleet....and doesn't look like anything's been gritted. I really doubt tomorrow's match will be at risk though, one of the bonuses of having a pitch that is so raised.

going to be another cold one bury style the forcast this evening was giving out a tempture of minus 5 for tomorrow night in the southeast
