good evening gents (and ladies),
I'm a new member to shrimperzone but have been a southend fan for most of my life, in fact my first game was at home to grimsby which saw the pitch invasion that saw off jobson.
obviously after that (and growing up in basildon) I became a regular down the hall first in the south lower before saving enough pennies to get a season ticket in the east green. I only kept it for a few years as I joined the RAF in 2004, and therefore missed being present for the glory days!
during my service i got to many away games and the odd home when visiting friends however I left the forces last year and have settled down in brigg (strangely just down the road from grimsby).
anyways thats me and I thought I'd say hi
