Newbie
Hi to all members.
My name is James Colasanti and I am a former sports reporter and sub editor on the Echo's sports desk.
I left that position in April this year and have now set-up an independent sports news website for Essex - www.sportinessex.com
I specialised in coverage of Essex non league football during my time at the Echo, but have always had a good working knowledge and healthy interest in all local sport.
As a sub-editor, I was also heavily involved in the editorial tone and delivery of the sports coverage at the Echo, including our Blues coverage.
I now want to include a good portion of Blues coverage on sportinessex.com
And I want that coverage to be heavily influenced by the voice of the club's fans in terms of issues you would like reported on, and questions you would like asked.
The website has the autonomy to represent your views, and I have the journalistic experience to deliver the content professionally.
I think that's enough of a waffling intro from me.
The best place to contact me is on the @SportInEssex Twitter feed. I'm also on Facebook as 'James Colasanti Sie'.
I interviewed Phil Brown after the Billericay game last night, and you can listen to that interview on this link if you want to. I would be most grateful if you can share it with other Blues fans through the Twitter and Facebook buttons.

And please do have a look around at some of our other content, which is completely free and of a very professional standard.
Many thanks,
James.
