theres no shame in admitting your skint - we've all been there - AND its very important to keep up appearances - even when the nearest and dearest have all found out -

BUT its also important to keep up your own self belief and confidence - to keep believing in your own self worth, believing in the big picture and retaining the confidence in the belirf that it will come right in the end -

but when you can't meet your committments (wages) you are in others peoples debt - you have to know you have no authority - that other peoples goodwill is keeping you going -

that goodwill that is leeping you afloat - while you renege on contractual committments - is coming from the players AND SUPPORTERS of Southend United FC -

come along and support the team, do what you can to sort it out - but we know right now you're skint mate -

Why would we want to keep them two !?

As for being skint, building a new stadium was always going to stretch us financially and Im amazed people didnt think that would be the case. The extreme nature of our problems is however more than anyone would have expected.

As for Barnard he wanted to move to a bigger club, even if we didnt have financial problems he would have left!

Why do you insist he is skint ? there is a big difference between being willing to put more of HIS money into the club and being skint .

As for Theo well he hasn't excactly set the world alight has he? Barney was always only ever going to be with us short term , anyway he is destined for bigger and better i think . Revs , well evey one liked him ,but afraid nice guys don't always come out on top and he just didn't score enough to warrant his place . Walker ,confidence shot to bits , needs to find a new challenge ,was never gonna make it with us , missed too many sitters for the fans to forgive him .

.....'us, us, us'........it should not have stretched 'us' at all - the whole project is down to RM and his various companies. 'We' own nothing and should not therefore be into this developement financially at all. I very much doubt that is the case tho.
