Surely it's plain to see?
It's not often that Southend United are praised in a local rival's publication but this is what will be appearing in one club's upcoming programme: -

"hats off to Southend United, the pride of Essex this week, who stunned the football world with a superb 1-1 draw at Chelsea in the FA Cup 3rd round. Despite falling behind early on and outplayed for long, long spells, they hung on in there and birthday boy Peter Clarke headed home a dramatic injury time leveller to send the 6,000 Shrimper Army berserk. Keeper Steve Mildenhall was not to be outdone, though, as he produced an astonishing save just seconds later to ensure that the multi-billionaires will have a thoroughly uncomfortable evening at Roots Hall this coming Wednesday. Well done Southend United, now just finish the job!"

Not bad at all.

Have they borrowed our proof-reader? There should be a comma after Essex.
