HMRC Hearing 22nd July 2020 - Fast Approaching!

Why wouldn't it be? If HMRC had been paid they'd have withdrawn but instead we had an adjournment. That tells us the money was still outstanding.

isn't the embargo being enforced by the EFL? they may be a bit reluctant to keep enforcing the embargo if it sets a precedent for other clubs that are struggling.

I'm quite hopeful that if the bill gets paid before the next court date then the embargo can be lifted before the court date although I may be wrong on that
 
Ron’s opted to pay at the last possible moment to help summer cash flow, IMO. Irritating, but very Ron-like. He’ll pay up in September. I’m sure he’ll also allow for some signings before then if there’s a manager in place and we can convince a target to sign a contract.
