The great man is 51* and seems to have his eye after Michael Vaughan's spot at the top of the order. He's keeping pace with Younis Khan (60*) and has hit 6 fours. Hampshire have Warne and Stuart Clark bowling, so its not a bad attack he's scoring them off. Certainly overshadows Monty's 33.

Hoggy and Harmy both appear to be in form with the ball, having crucially, had a rare break after the World Cup. Alistair Cook, another one who benefitted from a break, hit a good hundred for Essex, so we look in decent shape for the Windies tour.
 
I reckon he's already got a first class ton.

Edit: Actually its 89*, but this is his third 50.
