Honda CR-Z

Talking of cars, I'm upgrading in Jan.

A4 avant or 3 series touring?

A tough choice, I'm a year into my brand new 3 Series M Sport and still loving it, test drove the A4 and found it a bit dull TBH.

Had plenty of family trips away and it suits all needs although the boot space is a bit poor with a narrow access but fine if you're not taking enough luggage to carry out a small military manoeuvre

How much does all this mapping affect insurance?
I switched to Adrian Flux when i modded the FST, as they seem to specialise in remapped car insurance. IIRC the annual policy increase was only around £30, to around £285. One advantage of pushing 50 is cheaper car insurance, don’t know how some of these young lads can afford to pay their extortionate policies.

Insurance costs have always been a reason for me to stay away from modifications in the past, especially when i had an Impreza STI. Old age has it's upside with cheap(er) car insurance

Well I finally got my CR-Z. Purchased form Ebay and had to travel to Stroud, for it. White with a Black roof and wheels, it does look rather fetching.

GT model, so has the extras. It's a 10 plate, 72,000 miles, MOT until June with service history. Everything works as it should and I'm currently getting 54 mpg out of it, so I'm pretty happy

If anyone is looking for a Diesel Focus Titanium, 1.8 on an 09 plate with 86,000 miles, give me a shout

Sounds good, I still have my MR2 with 144,000 on the clock and still goes like a (small) rocket!

Well here it is. Having had it for nearly 2 weeks, I'm loving it more. Haven't put it in sport mode yet and booted it, still trying to get as much mpg as possible. Seems more economical than the Focus and along with the fact petrol is cheaper than diesel, it's been a good purchase. That and the fact its a sexy looking car and you hardly see one on the road

Glad you like it. There is one on eBay with possibly the worst advert ever giving reasons not to buy it. I can’t do a link. Seller is mikus33. Worth a read/laugh
