Hope Bristol Rovers aren't very tall.

Against Leeds we probably had the shortest team ever to play for Southend.
Hope Brissie don't cotton on to this and take advantage like Leeds did.
Two taller full backs would help for a start.

Shhhh!

Don't tell anyone that! And certainly don't go starting up threads saying as much.

i see brissel rovers before christmas and scored 2 very good goals and created alot more oppotunities. everyone knows what lambert can do from earlier in the season, just suprised to see they have only won away twice this season.

I would imagine Bristol Rovers saw all they needed to see when we played them earlier in the season - it wasn't just height that was the problem, it was the total and utter lack of marking of one of the hottest properties at this level.

I doubt a side containing a back four of garden gnomes could do a worse marking job on Rickie Lambert than we did at The Memorial!

All joking aside, you're quite right though - height is an issue in our side right now.... Just add it to the list :)
