Question How thorough are our medicals?

Just a question as I'm hoping that they are very thorough indeed as it would be easy in our current situation to overlook problems in order to increase our playing strength!!
Akinfenwa has broken a leg and failed a medical before, Mark Phillips has a bad injury record at Brentford. Bees fan told me a great player, very solid no messing type of defender, but was always injured and didn't feature as often as the fans would have likes.
Just a thought and don't want to put a dampener on things but we must still be comprehensive before agreeing to contacts and injury prone players being linked worries me.

Ron's doing his famous background checks as we speak although apparently he's having trouble with the barrell-chested Frenchman and can only trace him back to a family of circus performers hailing from the Pyrenees. Still not all is lost- Barry Corr's mum was in The Corrs so that one's easy and Ron has one of their CDs.

Nothing wrong with Akinfenwa, he's just had his best ever season and is at his peak.
