Just watching my Ian Dury live DVD from 1985, filmed at the Hammersmith Odeon. Nice bit of nostalgia. Anyway, just before the fourth song, Ian states - "Bobby Moore did not steal the bracelet, that is a slur on his character. Southend United (a few small cheers at this point), as me and Wilko Johnson know well, deserve our very, very best"
 
Just started reading Will Birch's( ex-drummer of Kursaal Flyers ) excellent. "Ian Dury :The Definitive Biography,
Curious link there between ID and my goodself which I'll probably write up on Shrimpero's "Radio,Radio" thread when I have the time.
