Idiots. How does that even happen!? Someone's head will be rolling there.

I doubt Newcastle give two hoots whether he played either.

I reckon your right there! Otherwise you would have probably heard something in the Press from them complaining!

Can't help but feel that if this had happened to a premier league club the punishment would have been a lot more lenient.

Whereas I agree that the FA are in the pockets of the bigger Premiership clubs, the punishment for fielding an ineligible player is invariably expulsion from the competition.

This is kind of ridiculous. Good was never going to play for Newcastle, yet is ineligible for the cup. Feel sorry for Bradford in this situation, but the rules are rules.

He was not ineligible. It was, as quoted by a Bradford spokesperson, a "technical administration error" on their part and they have apologised unreservedly to their fans.

Sounds a bit like a certain fax machine problem!!

Good friend of mine is the player in questions cousin. Turns out his papers got left on a table and there was a communication error about who was meant to send them through. Curtis is fuming!

Brentford at home in the Cup 3rd Round would be pretty tasty, I know we just played them but this is different would expect a 7/8K crowd.
