...would you call them similar names (like Jane and John) or would you be the opposite and call them Aaron and Zachary?

If they were them twins what look alike i think i would give them one name. Then they would never know you couldn't tell them apart. Save money on clothes etc.

Win Win

Having twins; the odds favour mixed sex twins before a single sex pair.

I believe parents do this because when they forget whom of the twins they are addressing (and they will, trust me!) it helps if the names are alike! It's all taste and preference, my partner wanted Abigail as a name & I liked Pippa, parental choice with twins. Perhaps the Father should name the boy & the Mother the girl etc... I am unsure.

While they are the most precious thing (kids) in my life, twins also bring many great implications and problems along the way. As much help should be accepted if possible. I have heard 1st time parents whom have twins say they have never known anything different so they are used to it, but many are not.

Any parent who dresses their twins in the same outfit, or similar but in different colours for example needs shooting. This is obviously worse if there's one male & one female twin, but not as bad as when you see parents who've dressed siblings in exactly the same outfit. Weddings are a typical place to witness such a phenomenon!!!

Problems arise because both twins like the same outfit etc, you know one of them won't be happy if the other gets the outfit & not them so sometimes it saves argueing and just get 2 outfits. Often these are bought by friends & relatives as well.

If you had twins....you would know my friend...
