If your loved ones have to go into a Care Home

In Germany, the mother-in-law is also now for 5 years in a home.
About 4 x5 meter room(food etc) care home costs also about 3,000 euros a month.
Her brain, memory are still very good, but her body has gone, needs wheelchair, help bed, washing etc.
She was lucky that her husband took out an extra insurance for her long before she entered the home.
But she MUST sell her house, both children get 25%,she then has 50% to use.
when that money runs out,the state-care home then comes to both my wife and her brother to help pay for her care.
And they must then pay what they ask.
As in the UK,this is a private care home, costs a bomb, but not enough workers because they also ONLY get minimum wages.
Bloody disgrace
