So we now have kept 3 clean sheets in a row. When was the last time this happened?

We have also kept 5 clean sheets in the last 8 games.

And we have not conceeded a goal at The Hall in 4 games straight, or 360 mins of football.

What is the reason for the improvement?...

Has Sturrock found the right formula?

The return of Morris maybe?

Gilbert getting injured?

I think the back 4 has always been pretty solid- but I think PS is getting the team working like he wants in front of the back 4- i.e. the midfield working defensively. There has also been a marked improvement at set pieces- all be it bring everyone back. However a lot of sides in L1 and L2 rely on set piece plays so defend trhem effectively is a great start

Could it be Luke Prosser? since he has played left back there has been a definate improvement. Even a goal too!

Prosser probably because he has height and tends to stay back and rarely venture forward. Kane is a great shield for the back 4. Also Morris gives far more confidence to the back 4. Those 3 factors for me.

Kane Ferdinand protects the defence well and is a proper holding midfielder....also I think that Morris has looked a much better keeper this time round

For the last 3 or 4 games Grant has been playing in the holding role in Midfield - Fedinand has been pushed up the field a bit further.

For me its because Moshni hasn't been playing. In my opinion he is too raw around the edges at the moment, and whovever plays along side him is constantly concentrating on him and his whereabouts instead of their own game. Last game was a prime example, not only was the defence more rattled when he came on but his inexperience gave away the penalty as well.

I will no hide away whilst i take the slagging!
