This article has just been circulated by Supporters Direct, it paints a realistic view of life in L2 and taken in context, you can see that we're actually not that different to most other clubs in our league.

I meant is 30% more than 7 clubs, which is closer to 7 clubs - 29% or 30%?!!! Me and calculators don't get on!

it doesn't say all 24 clubs in L2 actually took part in the survey though! Even if they did, would they reveal (Yeah, we're in the poo poo) even if they were? Dubious survey i think tbh.

Heard an article on the radio about this.

Not a huge surprise that the majority of clubs dont make a profit.

"53 per cent of clubs are dependent on their principal shareholder(s) to finance operating losses" is the key for us. Even though its not unusual to make losses its the fact our owners cant afford to cover the losses that causes us so many issues.

7 clubs out of 24 is 29.166% , the figures are rounded down the the nearest whole number ,thus 7 clubs = 29%
