Have had both and it depends what you want to use it for really. There have been countless threads on the zone about this but let me sum it up quickly for you...
If you want it for e-mail and occasional browsing on the net - get a Blackberry!
Why? - The buttons are a million times better for typing with than the touch screen. Don't get me wrong the iphone's keypad is better than on any other touch screen but I don't care what anyone says, it is not as good for typing long e-mails as a BB. As for the internet, the lack of 3g means it can be slow.
If you want it for browsing on the web and downloading cool apps - get an iPhone!
Don't really need to expand on this do I? 3g connection is faster for the web and if you don't know about the gizillion apps you can download then there isn't much point you buying an iPhone
