Is Big Sam In Big Trouble?

What has allardyce breached in his contract?

And why are the media so desperate to undermine our national team?

they've always done it, from Bobby Robson, to El Tel, to Sven and now Big Sam...

The 'Press' have just chucked a load of loaded questions at Allardyce and he's fallen for it - when will he learn to keep his big mouth shut (sounds like someone else we know !!)

Bottom line, is that it all boils down to greed; greedy press, greedy players, greedy managers, greedy agents - all killing the game !

There's nothing particularly shocking in that. If I was the commissioning editor at the Torygraph and that's all a 10-month sting uncovered, I'd be reaching for the Ts & Cs.

Biggest thing here is just how spectacularly thick Allardyce has been to get embroiled in a sting three months into the job.

Sam should have had more sense, wealthy guy already !

How much can they actually spend.

It looks like he's drinking a pint of wine, so I guess he's got his bills to pay, like we all have.

Alan Brazil discussed this on TalkSport this morning, his sources reckon Big Sam is 50/50 to stay in the job...

doesn't look good, if you were working in any other industry you'd be out the door by now. Loads of other allergations doing the rounds, Managers taking bungs, players gambling on results - wonderful...

Also:

The Telegraph began investigating corruption in English football last year after receiving information that specific managers, officials and agents were taking or receiving cash payments to secure player transfers. Over the coming days the Telegraph will detail how:

The assistant manager of a high-profile football club accepted a £5,000 cash “bung”
Ten managers were named by players’ agents as taking bribes to fix player transfers
Two well-known managers discussed becoming ambassadors for the same fictitious firm as Sam Allardyce
Another high-profile manager admitted his players broke FA rules by betting on their own games but he failed to report it
A senior figure at a Premier League club helped undercover reporters to formulate a plan to bribe managers

hmmm.

How long until there's an investigation into corrupt match officials? They have so much influence over results and they earn very little compared to a Pro Footballer, would be easy to bribe?

Seen some terrible and questionable refereeing decisions over the years it does make you wonder...

Seems likely he'll be sacked now, and even more unlikely he'll ever get another job in this country again.

cleaner than clean football managers - erm, Southgate?

Southgate doesn't want it, and sees his career very much in development. He might get it on an interim/caretaker basis while the FA sorts its **** out, but I'll be shocked if he takes it full time.

Sunderland manager by December 1st.

Times reporting he's to be sacked, which is a farcical conclusion to reach.

Why ?

The FA pay him £3,000,000 per year plus luxury travel and hotels.....anyone who cannot get by on 60 grand per week plus fringe benefits doesn't live in the real world, probably has other contracts too....yet he still wanted a shady meeting with a cool £400,000 deal on offer.

He has been stitched up yo a point but should have known better IMO.
