Ok, so we haven't heard from Ronny Martini for a long time. He doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who can sit back and not say anything. In the past we've had Q&A's, blogs etc etc. I, like many welcomed these, even if he did make promises he didn't/couldn't keep, and he may well have lied (I dunno). However since then we've not had a peep out of him. I assume Sainsbury's are closely monitoring the situation, but could it be the case that RM is just a puppet in a greater mess, especially with the CPOs/deals with the RH properties and the financing for FF.

Just some random thoughts.

Chris Phillips said earlier on Twitter he hadn't spoken with Ron since 09, the tweet was with a shrimPer from BBC Sport and he was amazed the Chairman doesn't speak to the local papers SUFC correspondent.

Don't know if Ron's a puppet for Sainsbury's. It kind of makes Sainsbury's sound like a Russian State who has put Ron there just for show and to do their bidding. I believe a multi national giant like that would like to wash their hands of the whole affair. Ron has cunningly dragged them along with SUFC and now they are committed. I call that a neat piece of work.

Of course all you top business guys would have us in the premier by now.
