No gnashing and wailing about PM salary increases and privatisation of the Royal Mail?

The sporting overload of Murray Mania, rampant Lions, tumbling wickets, flying wheels and too much sun at Great Wakering seems to have dulled the senses!

Strange times indeed.

Barna , OBL , MK etc must be all on holiday :winking:

I think it's all got a bit to much really. The nickname 'Shrimpermoan' didn't come about for no reason you know ;)

I make you right in that things had got a bit too much and my thread's intended to be tongue-in-cheek. I'll never get the shrimpermoan piece though as I've always seen a natural balance. For every single moan, there's generally a barrage of posters telling them to 'turn it in', just as there's a darker cloud ready for anyone getting overly-positive. ShrimperZone has been called the home of the Happy Clapper just as much as it's been called the alternative.

Long may it stay that way.

I'll just be told I don't understand how these things work and it will be better with privatisation and market forces being exercised. Just like our schools and hospitals will be and our rail system is. ;)

I blame Darryl.

Apologies I'll see if I can stir some **** next week. Flying back to Blighty tonight for a couple of weeks, part work part holiday. See some friendly faces at MTBD I hope. Bit cold over there I see - hope it continues for a couple of weeks. I'm off to North Devon for second week and want to spent 7 days on a beach doing nothing if I can, I'm exhausted.

Nope. Had Ofsted in at school so it's been a bit hectic over last couple of days, fortunately they've gone now and hopefully the kids (and us) can enjoy the end of school rather than be stressing over performance, results and league tables!

Plus, the weather has been fantastic so we haven't got that to moan about :darkcloud:

I'm on my secret hideaway plotting world domination by mind control of the furry woodland creatures. I hope we're adult enough not to make cheap beaver gags. :whistling:
