For those looking to take their mind off whether or not certain players will be offered, or will accept, new deals - here's an amusing story from Ananova about how the Italian police are attracting new recruits...

Italian police have been given something of a helping hand in their bid to catch crooks.

The latest addition to their fleet of cars is a Lamborghini sports car with a top speed of 192mph.

The 2-seater Lamborghini Gallardo will be used along highways in southern Italy.

The car, a gift from the Italian car factory, uses a V10 cylinder DOHC four valve V90 5 litre, 500 Hp engine.</span>

How cool would it be to pursue some thieves in that baby?&#33;

bit of an improvement on them nasty fiats they had in the italian job getting the run around from the mini coopers

I&#39;d love to see one of them taking on a 16 year old riding a Vespa&#33; mind you, with the back streets of Rome the kid would probably get away.
Don&#39;t the italians drive badly enough anyway without having 192mph police cars chasing them about?&#33;
