So as we all know Sam Smith got the gig. Here are my two efforts. The first one worked it's way through the system and did get a listen from Sam Mendes. No idea how I got on with the second. C'est la vie.

I just played the first one to my incredibly difficult to impress daughter. Now she has a flair for hair styling and make-up and wants to learn theatre and film so I have just told her that this is something to take inspiration from. To get a listen from the director of the film is a huge achievement in my book and even my daughter has given it the seal of approval. Trust me, getting the nod from my 11 year old is pretty impressive. Thanks SBH, you might have just helped set the bar for her.
 
Great stuff G, only just found this thread and after being seriously disappointed in the Sam Smith bilge that got the gig!
