But also why we haven't lost many. We were losing heavily week in, week out! The extra midfielder has shored us up in a better fashion than we were before. Sol has done well with the goods provided.

Just like Macclesfield.

Draws were OK for them.

The difference is we have to win games.

Appalling appointment.

Could you give some details please, who is the appalling appointment? Do you expect our youngsters to save us from relegation with the pressure that goes with it?

Sol.

We had to try to win the games against Bolton, MK, AFC and Tranmere in order to have any realistic chance of survival but instead we set the team out not to lose and the chance is gone.

Let’s face it, judging by his performance on Saturday, Clifford should have been learning his trade at LB since Ralph was injured.

Five at the back was only ditched because we ran out of defenders.

Lambasting Humphrey’s on the touchline at Donny was crass.

The ridiculous, cliche ridden interviews demonstrate an inability to communicate, which should have been apparent at interview.

That do for starters?

A manager has to have a go at players during the game if they are not doing what he wantsd, it happens in almost every game around the world. You want things different, you want players doing certain things, thats just part and parcel, PB did it, CP did it KB tried to do it.

CLifford was on loan and could not be recalled outside of a transfer window, or they are the loan rules as I understand then, maybe different if loaned to a non league club so cant say for certain.

we played 5 at the back against MK Dons (26/12); Wimbledon (01/01), Tranmere (11/01) all draws, also 5 at the back v Accrington (18/01) that was a win,, 4 at the back v Doncaster (28/01) that was a loss, and 4 at the back v Lincoln (01/02) that was a win. So we have own with both and lost with both this season, Sol has utilised the squad and youth, not sure over the last few weeks we can criticise him for results and tactics.

I am not his biggest fan, but he is winning me over and have to say since Boxing Day the performances have been getting better and he deserves credit for that

Or 27 shots on goal with just Charlie up front in a 4231 verses Lincoln, and 12th in the current form table and achieved whilst 8 players have gone and none coming in. This for a side that had shipped 7 at home and was on its knees when he took over.

If you dont like Sol you dont like Sol. This is perfectly fine. We have never had, and probably never will have, a manager who is universally supported. Nonetheless, he is our manager and will be for the foreseeable future, and as has been said the judgement will likely be far more meaningful next season than this. However, if we do go down as a team 12th in the league 1 form table in 2020 with a squad we can build on then it might not be the worst possible outcome?
