That'll be Faces nightclub, always bloody trouble there! Not good news - you'd have thought he'd have learned from Hally!

Southend United player arrested on suspicion of assault

A SOUTHEND United player has been arrested on suspicion of attacking a man outside a nightclub.FULL STORY IN FRIDAY'S ECHO

I'd say he's even further increased his chances of being off in January! Obvs we don't have full story and I'd hope he is the innocent victim...

Oh dear. Obviously we can't comment too much given the little we know at the moment, but you have to hope that he's innocent, and awaiting the proof of that. If not, it will be interesting to see how the club deals with it. It would obviously draw parallels with the Hall story from last year, but each case like this needs to be treated on it's own merit.

Obviously it all depends on what actually happened that night but it would look bad if the club didn't stand by JJ. Would kinda be like them sticking by a key player n washing hands of a reserve.

Certainly gonna be interesting to see what happens n let's hope he's innocent.

It's a shame, because he's been looking really sharp in training. I would like to see him given another chance on the wing, I think it would be like a new signing.

Here we go again....

Really hope this is something and nothing as I've hoped all along that JJ would come good. Probably less likely that the club would stand by him as they did Hall if found to be guilty of this, as their standing in the club is completely different.

What was he doing there a night before a match anyway ?
Does it say that anywhere?

Old blue lady - Yes. The night before the match with Macclesfield. Page 9 in the Echo.

It is in the copy of the Echo I bought this morning. May not have been part of the 16 that day but I'm sure he would have travelled. Actually as I'm reading this now it says he was an unused sub.

Canveyshrimper just Pm'ed me and said he didn't realise Judge Judy played for us.
